I got a small 18" Razor kids bike. I raised the seat and it is a fun project not meant for serious transportation. I have two other e bikes. A 26" Clear Creek Schwinn with a 1killowatt front hub motor and a 20" cargo bike with a custom front chain driven Unite motor running 36V@750W with a pot. for a throttle.

I am interested in doing my first friction drive and the bike is perfect for this as I would not want to go over 20mph with such a small bike anyway. I weigh over 200lbs so dont expect miracles going up hills either as long as it can do small not very steep ones. I want to do this for a learning experience and basically for short one or two mile trips where there are no steep hills.

It is my answer to the small folding bikes which are very popular. I would like to run it on two 4s or 6s 5.0 Lipo packs from Hobby King in a small pouch mounted somewhere in the back. It can be front or rear driven but must be pedal capable as that is the law here.

The only two questions I have are what power and KV should the Hobby King RC motor be?

Where is there a link for a cheap kit for mounting including the friction drive wheel.

Also I am not looking to spend a lot of money.I would like to keep it around $200 if possible.

Please let me know. Thanks.

LC. out.
