I have looked and searched and looked again, but I cannot find a Metric Cobalt Drill Bit Set for less than $100US.

Does anyone know of a source for a drill bit set that is metric AND cobalt?

PS And yes, I have searched google ad infinitum.

If you have to have cobalt, you have to pay the price. I have bought a metric drill bit a couple of times from these guys, recieved in the mail in less than a week, high quality, I would use them again. If you find a better deal, please post it for the rest uf us to use.

Thank you!!!

That helped a lot. I just purchased a 1 to 10mm cobalt metric drill set for about $38US.

It was just what I was looking for!

One of the bits I got from them is a cobalt 1/8-inch with a hex shaft that I use for drilling pilot holes. I admit I have only used it on aluminum, but it is showing absolutely no signs of wear, and I hear they can be re-sharpened (although I have no experience with that).

The metric set of 1.5mm through 7mm in 0.5mm incremments arrived. They are perfect for use in drilling pilot holes for tapping in my frame for metric screws or bolts. The nice thing about cobalt drill bits is that you can use them on steel over and over again and they don't wear out.

Thanks again!!!
