Move rear hub to the front?

Wondering if it is possible to remove the freewheel from rear hub motor and put it on the front? after hearing all of the trash talk about haing a mid drive and a rear hub motor, I wonder if it is possible to move the rear hub motor and wheel to the front, sans freewheel. Will is fit, can it be made to fit the front forks, or is it cheaper to just buy front hub motor and put it on the front wheel? BTW, this is a 26" fat tire bike.

Fatbikes usually have a 175mm rear spacing for the motor, and the front forks probably use a 135mm spacing, Means the motor won't fit,

Are you referring to the dropout distances, which on the rear would include space for the freewheel?

The space the freewheel occupies doesn't disappear when you remove the freewheel.

You'd need a front fork that's as wide as the motor wheel.
