My baby bbs02 dead HELP!!

This is the first time in my life online calling for some help. I have a bbs02 that I bought about 4 years ago, and have been happily smashing it since. One day to the next after having no problems it just decided it didn't want to turn on anymore. I'm very mechanical inclined and have done a little bit of troubleshooting, I know that I have solid voltage from the battery and running down the line to the brand new controller that I've already installed and I have literally replaced everything behind that to fix the problem including the cable from the controller to the handlebars and have replaced the screen, throttle and switch ( I know just doesn't sound like troubleshooting but more just replacing Parts but I wanted to have backups anyways) but now here I am I have replaced everything and still the LCD doesn't turn on and the bike is dead. The pins are tiny and did catch 52v on one of them.
The only thing I can imagine is the new controller is bad out of the box?? Any ideas anybody?
