Hello world. in advance, sorry for my poor english, I am french... Well, I wonder if I have just burn my Dewalt BMS.
One cell of my dewalt battery pack was die. So I open the pack, remove the cell and solder a new one. When I disconnect the bms, I respect the order to do so (at least I think so) :
1-i cut off red wire of the bms
2-then i cut off two black wires of the bms (the little one first)
3-then i disconnect the two 5 plugs connectors
To re-connect the bms :
1- I plug the two 5 plugs connectors
2-then I solder the black wires (the big one first)
3-then i solder the red wire
When connecting the red wire, I have seen a little electric flash... And now, my bms is warming and my battery pack don't charge
Do you think my bms is die ? Could you explain why (what was my mistake) ? Is there a chance to save it ?
Thank you in advance.
