Hi all,
I'm interested in e-bikes for quite some time. I've been an off-road motorcycle driver for more than 15 years now, I prefer driving trough the woods, and I started searching for quiet solution, as 125 and 250ccm two stokes makes a lots of noise. I don't want to disturb anyone, and I'm also little bit tired of 2 stoke noise after all. So I bought my first KTM frame (makes sense for me, as I don't know anything about bicycles), then I've learned a lot from on line tutorials, then I got all the other parts, assembled the bike and completed it with Magic Pie 3 and 20Ah LiFePo4 setup. Here's playlist on my KTM UltraTrail:

Of course, I was interested in mid drive as well, and I tried my luck with first gen GNG drive and beautiful KTM Outland frame. Setup was a real nightmare, although I already have very good mechanical skills, and I'm familiar with electronics professionally. I can't imagine average biker trying to put this kit successfully on a bike, it would push a poor guy in total misery. But once installed, it works like a charm, and it's still my favourite, although it can be very dangerous if you're wearing pants:

At the end of my 3 months e-bike journey, I started to experiment with BionX motors. Reason for that is that they are dirty cheap in my country, and there's literary dozens of them laying around at scrapyards, in most cases in perfect condition except for fets and/or torque sensors. So I got two SL250 36V motors for Delta-Wye and overvolting tryouts on an external controller, and two SL350 48V motors to be used in dual stator setup, overvolted to 72V (that will be my next project). So here's a link to my previous motor works:

Finally, I didn't have any of non-electrified KTM's left, so I put my little BionX back to Wye, used my daughter's Capriolo and gone for a test ride. It's pretty fast, has a decent torque, and this controller is perfect match for it. Max speed 43km/h with 92kg load, that's more than I've expected:

Hope you will enjoy my videos, and I will be glad to answer all kind of questions related to my current/future projects.
