An ebay sniper is the ONLY way to shop on ebay.
You either are willing to pay any amount or you use a sniper.

Do some research on it - it will pay off. I only do BuyItNow these days, but when I was bidding on auctions I used a sniper. Come to think of it.. I probably have a bunch of snipe credits that I did not use.

I've used a few sniper programs. I stopped using them when I discovered a shipping address in my account that should not have been there. I changed my password after each time I used it and set it up maybe a few hours before the auction ended so as to minimize the chances of someone who may have access to the password to do something with it. Now, if needed, I just bid as high as I am actually willing to pay for an item 5 seconds before the auction ends and feel happy with that.

Luckily, I did a bunch of research on ebay sniper programs prior to using them, some folks were saying that they were stolen from and believed the program to be related. So I was paranoid. The address that was setup was to the closest walmart to myself.

Anyway, I'd gladly help you doctorbass if you need it.

Same here, though I'm willing to use a sniper program if there's a big difference between the going bid price and the lowest BIN price. That's not usually the case for common mainstream products, but it's usually the case for used things or older things.

Pro-tip for eBay shopping: Once you find the product you're interested in, do a search by model number or product number. Typically the bigger sellers take the lazy way out and type in that stuff, and not what it actually is, and you can sometimes find it at a far lower price. There was a server fan I saw at $50 (pretty popular with that seller - 6 sales), but I found it at Fry's for $37 (Not so popular at that seller - 0 sales). The difference is that the $50 guy used the words "server fan" in the title, Fry's didn't.

Life is good
