Hi all.

I need to choose a battery that fits a bbs02 750W - 48V 15-25A motor for my bike.
These seem to be good choices:
Samsun 13S4P 29E http://eclipsebikes.com/116ah-lithium-frame-battery-samsung-cells-p-1105.html
Samsung 13S4P 30Q http://eclipsebikes.com/12ah-lithium-frame-battery-samsung-cells-p-1121.html

My main question is: are samsung cells Q30 better than 29E (extra 50£)?
It seems that they (30Q) are more recent, and can take a lilte more energy.
But what about the discharge rate (C) i couldn't clarify that. From what i read in this forum one should not discharge a battery at a too fast rate because it will reduce battery life.
Although eclipse bikes show that both can handle 25-30 A continuosly i was wondering if one of them would be better i.e. the optimal discharge rate would be close to 15-25A on a 13S4P battery and therefore have a longer life.

These are the data sheets for both cells, but I couldn't figure out an answer to my question....
29E - http://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries20 ... %20UK.html
30Q - https://www.imrbatteries.com/content/sa ... 50-30Q.pdf

Are these a good deal or should i search elesewhere, or another type of chemetry?

Thank you all.

Best regards

Rui

29E 4P too weak for 25A system. Should be okay for 18A continuous, but then factor in cold, small capacity, running much full throttle, hills etc... depends partly on riding style of fast or slow.

The 29e is 1C continuous rated and the 30q is 5C continuous rated.IOW's the 29e is rated for 2.75A and the 30q is rated for 15A. That should make your decision easy. Get the 30Q. It's almost as powerful as the 25r which is rated for 20A.

Thank you very much, that's the answer I was looking for!!!!

Best regards.
