Need Numbers

I'm in the process of learning the Major Memory System. It's a method of memorizing number strings by assigning a phonetic sound to the number -> assembling the sounds into nouns, -> and then assembling the nouns into a story, maybe a story of a journey through a path. It works. And I'm now at the stage where I need to practice memorizing numbers. Once memorized, I could retain the memory of that number for life.
So, selecting random numbers is a useless exercise, but some numbers are beneficial to have on immediate hand.
Lots of people choose to memorize pi to some long decimal level. A growing number of people learn pi to a hundred decimal digits.
Anyway, what are some useful multi digit numbers that might be useful if memorized?

How about the numbers in Conversion of units (Wikipedia). Or you could google "useful constants" but most of the results are in specialized fields. Assuming you're mostly wanting to exercise your memory?

Metric to British (American) are some good ones. You never know when the number of feet to a meter may be critical, (perhaps when calculating the range of a missile already launched toward you).

• The speed of light in a vacuum
• e, the natural logarithm base
• Electrical constants...
• Other force constants, like the gravitational constant
• Distanced between cities
• Financial conversions
• Years of certain events,

I was looking for suggestions.
