Nicot. Gasser manufacturer, now has one electric model. looks like a QS cylindrical motor, looking for details now...Looks like manufactured in China. "Chongqing Nicot Industry and Trade, LTD". Their website lists a 150cc, 250, and 450, but...not the weights and tire sizes so I can't tell what size the electric version is (video with a small rider makes the bike look bigger that it is).

It does not have a QS motor, is the usual "Denzel" motor and gearbox with 4 speed.
The same bike is sold under a few different brands, like Mortch motors, etc...

I believe you are correct. I just texted Frank Yang (His first name is probably not actually Frank), and here is what I could get from him.

The frame is claimed to be a rolling CR250 chassis purchased from Honda. He did not want to discuss the motor, controller, or battery, any which can be sourced from a variety of models in China. Looks like he chose Denzel for the roll-out model.

To obtain wholesale pricing, you must purchase 10 units which would be "Nicot" branded. If you want a particular color-scheme and desire it to be branded with your own business name, the Minimum Order Quantity / MOQ is a container with 32 units. No word on lead-time, which is certain to be months.

I believe it's not. They always says this things, but... :wink:

I sincerely doubt that Honda (or whoever makes their steel bike frames in asia) will ever sell the same chassis to other brands.
If you look at the CRF 250L (CR was the 2 stroke bike frame) it's clearly different.

What is probably true is that they can use the honda CRF plastics from the 250/450 R/F models.

In some facebook posts on the Mortch/Nicot motors page you can even see the frames being made, and no way it's a honda product:

I see that BHR claims their bike, which incorporates the Denzel motor, produces a max of 32hp, while the Nicot claims their bike produces a max of 12kw, which I understand is equivalent to ~16hp. Voltage in each set up is about the same, so what's the difference. Could it be the controller? Seems like BHR must be pushing that motor to its limit...

Hi Fellas,
I have both the Nicot and the Timemoto that incorporate what you all are calling the "Denzel" motor. Currently, they both come with an APT 72400 controller and produce 12kw of peak power with 3kw nominal. I have ridden about 130 miles of hard riding on the Timemoto and have had no issues with heat generation. I believe the motor is very capable of being boosted to a higher output. That is why I purchased an APT 80550 controller with the same footprint as the 72400. Currently, I am running into an issue with interfacing the controller. I have the new APT program required to interface the controller, but the vendor never gave me the access code to register my program. So I am stuck at this point. Anyway, the Nicot has a 72v 50 amp battery where the Timemoto has a 72v 40amp battery. The BHR claims to have a 72v 70amp battery, so I am guessing it has a different or customized DAT file in the controller.
