hi,
I'm an Italian boy,
I hope to make you understand my problem.

I have 2 kits so Bafang follows:

-DISPLAY: Bafang c961
-ENGINE: BPM 36VOLT 250Watt hall sensor Y36/250-28 "-250G9.1
-Controller: 36V/15A Z02
-E-BRAKE
-THROTTLE
-CABLE: EB-BUS
-SPEED SENSOR: BB S530

I have them mounted and they worked perfectly.
The display was calibrated at the factory to 3 levels of potenza.Ma the c961 display can have up to 9 levels of power.
I have changed "Level setting amount" bringing it to 9 power levels.
The kit worked perfectly after this change.
I still varied "amount Level setting" and the pedal sensor S530 no longer works. The bike will only work with throttle.

This malfunction happened to me on all 2 kit.

I think it's a problem with the unit or the display Z02 C961.

What do you think?
This problem has happened to you? (After changing the setting "Level setting amount" pedal sensor does not work anymore)

the control unit Z02, is programmable

does anyone know how to interface with the ECU Z02?

Did you check that the magnet disc is still rotating with the pedals, and that the distance/gap to the sensor is about 1mm?

BB S530 sensor is inside the bottom bracket,
it is impossible to break.

I think it's an issue of control because I have 2 identical bikes that presented the same problem, after entering 2 times in the sub menu display C961-assisted pedaling is disabled.
