My Q128C started making awful racket today when at higher wheel RPM (even under no load when wheel lifted off ground it makes noise).
I tore motor down.
Is NOT clutch. Motor is clean as a wistle, no loose stuff.
Has 2000 miles now.
The problem is the motor-shaft's (pinion side) end-bearing is shot.
Bearing is simply a bronze cup that holds 8 steel ball bearings that loosely float inside lubed bronze cup.
The bronze cup is cracked and rubs against seat of shaft.
Any ideas on what my options are other than toss motor and get another one?
Thanks.

That's a thrust bearing.
Take the old race to a bearing supply and see if they can match it.
