i apologize if this is a bad "first post"...

i got a second hand ESR 750 ex (not a hoverboard) recently, and was thinking of refurbishing/upgrading it. it runs on SLAs...

it is a coupla years old. black cased motor. as i value reliability/longevity over speed/short-lived parts... any input will be appreciated.

i understand that a torkinator motor is a good upgrade, but wonder what else i should buy and replace it at the same time?

what sort of gearing/chain should i use with the T2V5 motor? (run it cool is... better, i think?)

should i think about going down this route? is the original (black case) motor more reliable than the torkinator?

do the bearings/bushes (wheels, etc) last a while or are they better being replaced whenever possible?

what is the biggest capacity SLA batteries i can use without getting a deck spacer?

how difficult/expensive it is to upgrade the SLAs to lithium phosphate batteries and does anybody know what are the parts that MUST be changed?

any replies will be much appreciated: goped nation doesn't seem to be around anymore... i hope to document this upgrade with photos and descriptions as i go along...

here is at least 1 link for SLA to LiFePo batteries i've read on here (i've been reading a lot, and will accumulate them here as i go:

About the battery upgrade, you only need to fit same voltage ranges in the LiFePo4 battery. The packs must be built-in its right LiFePo4 BMS, and just connecting directly to the controller. In order to charge the battery you should also fit charge voltage, or charge the pack with its own charger
