I have a Top End Force 3 handcycle that I want to put a hub motor on. My hope is this will bring me up to the level of able bodied cyclists and maybe give me a chance to smoke my buddies on some uphill ascents again. I want to be able to ride the handcycle similar to how I rode my road bike before my accident. This includes biking in the mountains (~30 miles with ~3,000 feet of climbing) and biking to work, which is a 20 mile mostly flat ride with maybe 15 stoplights, so not a lot of stops. I like the concept of using regenerative braking to maintain a safe speed as I descend down the hills. Weight is not a major concern as ~100lbs of my body are "dead weight" :), but a lighter motor is obviously better..

I am debating between the nine continent RH 212, the GMAC, and the Crystalyte H3525 and was hoping to get some advice. My rank ordered preferences are as follows

1. Efficiency when biking up ~7% grade hills at ~8 MPH for an hour
2. Reliability (If I handcycle to work, I don't have many options if my motor stops working..)
3. Noise (I want a quiet motor)
4. Weight
5. Ease of installation. Good disc brake caliper clearance and avoiding any modifications to my frame are pluses.
6. Price

I also found a kit that has a TDCM direct drive motor, https://ebikemarketplace.com/collections/hub-motors/products/36v-tdcm-motor?variant=38518813253, but unfortunately there is not a lot of information on it and I think it is a discontinued model, so am worried about buying it (unless someone knows more about these).

Here is a picture of the handcycle

Thanks for the advice!
