Anybody else seen these? Or have one? I got a guy a couple shops over who just got one and he wants help making it faster... Its a brushed hub motor so first I told him to try a set of lipo instead of his SLA that came with the bike. When I road it I noticed the battery gauge was droping off the indicator so the lead is mostly dead. He is a RC guy so he will sting some rc lipo together just for a test proly 8s just because the batterys are 36v it will get him close enough and the lipo will not sag so he should see a boost in aceleration.

But we are thinking down the road we want a good brushless hub motor anyone have any sugestions??

Dude! Wow! That is 9 types of Awesome! I've never seen one like that before, and I think I want one.

Electric parts sound like crap. SLA and brushed? I'd plant any 500w motor in it with as much Lipo as could be stuffed in that box, if it was me. A Clyte 406 in that rear wheel would be smooth and extra quiet, and about the same size. A MAC would too. not as quiet, but more torque. Since it's a cruiser, I wouldn't go insane with the power, but thats just me.

Now I want one.

Good looking concept. I'd suggest making similar, but with mid-drive.

yeah I've seen a heap of those around - not on the street as they're not very practical to actually ride but you see them in shops and online alot.
As stated the brushed motors and crappy SLAs are a bit of a setback but they're only around $800

Yeah I want one. Its OK to ride. Really comfy, brakes are not the greatest but with Brushless it would have regen... The fork is not to tough so... I think I will try to find one and I will build it realy bad assed!

Hi just bought one of these as a project, trouble is bought it in bits and now realise theres a few bits missing, do you have any pics of other side of rear wheel, where the brake is?? mines missing and it looks as tho without it my rear wheel will try to spin the spindle round, apreciate it if you could post some pics, cheers Gavin
