Sears is selling electric bicycles

Sears sells everything in the 'marketplace'. It's not stuff you would ever see in stores.

That's awesome. They also got the Pedigo line. http://www.sears.com/pedego-electric-bikes-pedego-comfort-cruiser-electric-bicycle/p-SPM2360729803P?prdNo=4 . What I like about Sears is that if they don't have it in the store it can be ordered and shipped to the store for pickup. I wonder what thier satisfaction/return policy is on these items.

REI recently (about a month or so ago??) selling iZip electic bicycles. http://www.rei.com/search?query=izip

I had seen one other electric bicycle offered at REI about a year ago.. but it was not very good product IMHO. It would be nice if they carried the Prodeco ( http://prodecotech.com/bikes/category/electric-bikes/ ). they got some nice full suspension, light weigh folding bicycles. And they seem to have the best prices around for new electric bicycles.. And I like the way they have modularized the compontents for easy replacment of parts. And they got the DOT certification (the documentation TSA looks for when checking luggage?) on thier batteries too i believe. And as of late 2011, they have begun to offer the bikes with 36v systems and are phasing out the 24v line. I am interested to know how well these will be able to be checked as luggage on commercial passenger airlines. Being able to take your electric bicycle on flights for business and vacation will be amazing!!!!

that's correct, and its not sold by Sears,
my friend's company sell through there,
its third party selling. Amazon have similar format.

example for the pedego bike,
if you look under the price,
it says "Marketplace Item, Sold and shipped by Current Moves"
so any issues regarding the product, you would be contacting Current Moves.
(btw, Current Moves actually had a physical shop here in San Jose, before they closed down a year ago)
