It is my understanding that a 18650 cell will live longer if charged to 4.1 Volts instead of its maximum 4.2 Volts.

I am considering which balance charger to purchase.

Will an Imax b6 allow us to reduce the maximum charge voltage?

If not, what other charger do you recommend?

It can be hard to find the lilo setting though.

as you scroll through, you will get choices for lipo, nimh, etc. To get to lilo, go to user set program, get in, then select lilo.

After that, you will get choices on the main menu, lilo, nimh, lead, etc.

Took me like a year to realize I could do that on my b6.

From Skyrc:

Dear Stu,

Thank you very much for your letter and support.

This can be set in 'BATT Memory', you can find it in the charger's manu.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Karl
