Or post anything GoPro Mount related...

I originally was just gonna post this find, but I know everyone likes to show off stuff, so let's see what you got (or bought)!

New stem-cap mount for the GoPro camera - I Saw this on PinkBike article: RC's Random Walk Through Interbike 2012
by Paul Components tho I can't see it anywhere on their site.

Paul Components builds a stem-cap mount for the GoPro camera. The machining is beautiful as usual. Turn the camera on yourself or set it an any angle to catch another rider in action. Email for prices.

Now that's nice looking and a great solution! I would like to see what the perspective looks like!

I found a solution that works quite nicely for me. I put my camera in a camera case that clips to your belt. I clip it onto my camelpak strap. I have a hole cut in the case so the lens can poke out. I like this better than gopro because you can use a standard digital camera and you can use both your hands to fly then and also pull the camera out and point it somewhere.

Here's a video of me using this technique

My buddy uses a HD keycam and velcos it to the bill of his hat. It is actually pretty good. It is super tiny but still shoots in 720p.

digging thru my thread a bit... all pretty lowbrow

Oh man Greg those pictures take me back! ha ha loved the lash on lens on the pocket camera, that took some pretty decent video I seem to remember, OK the Gopro these days is the king but old school lash ups like that still worked and worked well.

I love the stem mount thats really neat, I am surprised that there arent more third party mounts about, the official Gopro ones are a bit flimsy and for what they are expensive too.

Ghetto lash the gopro like you do Greg, its the only way, I mean can you see Gopro offering a spoke mount adaptor for that rotating, bring your dinner up video! ha ha.

Your handiwork has already been featured in a similar thread Greg and you didn't even know it :p

Perhaps a mod can merge these together ?
