I'm considering putting together a 12S2P Lipo pack consisting 4 x 6S bricks @ 8000mah, giving 44.4V @ 16000mah total.
I know it's probably going to be easier going with another chemistry for ease of charging, but (in theory), would this solution work -
- Two bricks connected permanently in parallel
- These are only connected together in series when the connector is plugged into the controller using a 4 pin connector of some sort (or two XT60s together, if possible)
- Two chargers mounted onboard connected to one PSU, when the 4 pin charger connector is unplugged from the controller, the packs are no longer in series and can be charged as individual 6S2P packs
- Balance leads permanently connected to the chargers
Would this work?
Thanks
Jon
