Also, what about locks, get the key from the guy renting out the bike?

Interesting concept, and T.O. probably has a high bike theft crisis on their hands with the warm weather.
 
As a longtime cycle mechanic, e-bike go-to guy and salvager of hopeless cases, I can say without reservation or doubt that the VanMoof e-bike is the single worst piece of crap I've ever had the dishonor to work on. It stubbornly resists even the simplest kinds of repair and maintenance and actively wastes any time and effort you spend trying to set it right. It's like even more design effort was spent making it impossible to maintain than was spent making it look stupid (which it does, very effectively).

Given that Spinlister seems like a poor answer to a question nobody was asking to begin with, I think those two businesses are made for each other.
