Street strider fat ebike?

I think it must be the spring fever due to no work from Covid19, I got an idea to build one of kind street strider fat elliptical bike to ride off-road/on beach.

These things seem like a blast to ride. Has anyone tried one of them?

It sounds like the kind of project my friend and I have been coming up with to stave off the boredom. His last idea was putting a rowing machine in a rowboat, but have it spin a propeller, maybe get higher top speed. My last idea was a monster moped
