Strong GTS - fast road commuter build

Hi guys sorry for not updating for a long time, the reason for this is that i had a problem with my motor axle (dead threads...)
so i have a plan -
im right now in China visiting the Shanghai bicycle fair (Chinacycle) so i ordered a new 16x4 stator for my leaf motor, with new axle and caps, to upgrade the 13x5 stator i have right now with worn out threads
im gonna be back to Israel in May 11th and then im gonna install this new stator and finish this freaking bike already, for start its gonna be without a Delta\wye switch, if it will pass the 90kmh i will probably keep it in Star mode, if not, im gonna Delta\WYE it :)
what am i going to do with the old stator you ask? well... i just fried the big 45mm stator on my 10kw rocky mountain (check my youtube channel to see the smoke coming out of it lol), so im going to take the old axle and stick it in the 35mm Leafmotor stator, then i will put it inside the 45mm case and hope for it to work right, i see no reason why it shouldn't, not sure what im gonna do with this modified motor but its more usefull than a fried stator for sure
BTW since i took the motor apart and waiting for the new stator, i used my spare time to make the wiring nicer and cleaner, and make all the small finishes, and i might get a 60a sinewave controller too later, but thats not important right now
so keep and eye on this thread guys, its gonna be (FINALLY) finished in hopefully less than a week :D :D :D

Ok im back from China, with my new Stator for the leaf motor
all the other parts i needed arrived in the mail and im ready to build!
in the pic -
*1500w leaf motor stator, caps, 3mm phase wires, and 12t freewheel
*ferrofluid
*80a fuse with 8awg wire
*3spd\lights\horn switch and another light switch just in case
*theres also a kelly throttle, 9 relays and high temp silicone in the pic, but its not for this build

took me a day and i sorted all these stuff, got all the wiring finished, installed a new temp guage thats matching the temp sensor which comes inside the leafmotor and a killswtich for the bms
only thing thats left to do is install the rear brake, adjust the front brake, and tighten some bolts
gonna do these stuff tonight after writing this post, and do a test ride tomorrow morning with my sj4000 to make a video too
Here's the first unloaded test with all the wiring sorted out, 120% mode at 82.5v
last time i ran this battman (the meter on the bars) i set it for a 20" wheel, so technically the speed should be correct, but i feel like i need to check it again because it shows 125kmh unloaded, i hope its right :p

Ok so i had a test ride today, turns out i forgot my sj4000 at work
turns out that the claimed 5c batteries can barelly take 3c
but still - top speed with 20v sag at 60a peak was 85kmh, and then the BMS cut off... i can still go at 80% mode at 70kmh but its not what i want
for now i will probably take the old lipo's out of my rocky mountain (because i fried its motor..) and will buy 16ah multistars when they restock
speaking about 16ah multistars - how are they handling some serious amps? i would love to give this motor 100a peaks
and here's a photo of course, because thats why were all here :p
btw you can see i added a little bag on the swingarm, just for gloves and such

Thanks Mike :)
I forgot to update you guys but the bike had a small tragedy a few days ago
i arrived to work, pluged the batteries to charge (with a bms and 84v charger), after about an hour i smelt some smoke, so i looked around and the bike was shooting smoke
so i quickly got both packs out and ran outside, the moment i put them back to the ground they started popping
i took a video and some pictures
the video is on ES FB group because i dont want to upload such a thing to youtube, theres enough media shit about batteries exploding they dont need more videos to blame us
you can find it on this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/endless.sphere/1010593732343028/
and here are the pictures
it burned a bit of the frame color but not serious, lucky i got it out in time

ANYWAY this happend at work, and since i had to ride home i spent 3-4 hours after work on fitting my old lipo packs from my Rocky mountain, theyre originally 20s 15ah 20c but after 200 cycles they give around 10ah, still give 65a peaks for the GTS
since i did it after work it doesnt look perfect and i will leave it that way untill the multistars arrive
btw today my backordered multistars were shipped, so soon im gonna pump it up to 80 or 100a peaks, with lots of range
heres how it looks now with the bigger lipos, i had to move the huge 100a bms out with the controller to the downtube, but they cool better so no complains

and here is how it rides at 65A peak, which is 5000w, and i still dont think its enough, top speed 60mph

More upgrades
got 5 packs of 4s 16ah multistars to make 20s 16ah pack
so i stripped the bike down, plastics went down too because i want to make newer bigger ones for the new batts
13510758_1747524122129877_1444346736011805303_n.jpg

fitted the new packs, with a 100a bms on top
im making the plasics from 1.5mm black PVC, sewing with zipties to the frame, really easy stuff to work with

and last thing i did today is the harnesses, one for the discharge wires made from 10awg silicone wires and xt90's, and a balance harness with 1 connector for the bms and 5 other jst-xh connectors for the lipo's, and some wire cover to make it tidy, cause thats alot of wires

i gotta ride this bike to work in 2 days so i need to finish it tomorrow, i need to close the plastics and renew the controller wiring and location
got lots of stuff to do to the bike, not gonna do everything on this weekend but here's what i have in hand
13516417_1747616665453956_5499773901541172673_n.jpg

a pair of 20"x2.4" Kink BMX tyres
a new headset
new 12v rear light
some cromed decals to add to the plastics once i close it
and i got a 24fet 60v-120v 80a bluetooth controller on the way, gonna probably shunt it up to 100a, thats when the fun will begin

Wow, you have some balls, bringing batts with unstable chemistry inside your workplace.
i dont think im the first one on ES to put Lipo's on an e-bike :p
anyway i just closed the battery box, now only things left to do is to make the controller wires longer, mount it lower on the downtube, and finish the wiring which is all going to be closed in the top part of the battery enclosure
