Just a warning to everyone if like me you clean your chain using the motor to turn the chain......
Don't, I had the cloth go into the sprocket rapidly followed by my finger, the chain had no tensioner and was unfortunately adjusted nice and tight.
The sprocket went right through the nail and most of the way through the finger, I am now on antibiotics and will likely have to have the nail drilled tomorrow.
I knew it was dangerous but assumed it would never happen to me.

Shyte.

Speedy recovery...

Yuk, real ugly.
I've had a B&D hedge trimmer slice into the tip of my ring finger even after I had just turned it off & it did it's dirty work soley on momentum.
I hope no complications set in, what with the resistant superbugs out right now.
I'd recommend staying away from the hospital as much as possible where most of the infections seem to happen.

I don't heal very quickly (I've never looked into why that is, possibly borderline diabetic or hemopheliac) but whatever the reason, I've become a total pussy about risking injury.
Other things to be aware of when working around anykind of rotary machinery like a drill press or lathe, no dangling clothes, loose sleeves, gold chains or the like & tie back long hair.
Once it grabs you by the curlies it'll suck your face right in.
no, it hasn't happened to me yet, nok wud.
