hey guys I just want to let you guys know of these
http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/336985583-SALE-2PCS-2-x-Lithium-Li-ion-3-7v-2400mAh-18650-Rechangeable-Battery-Ultrafire-Flashlight-Battery-wholesalers.html
its 4 cells each lot and thats 60 cents percell

ultra fire always over estimates the capacity but your still looking at 1200mah per cell
haven't brought any yet but looking at all the other people that brought cells they seem pretty happy.

the reason i havent brought any is because it seems too good to be true and im not sure how to wire Li-on cells safely..

Sorry, correction. only 2 cells per lot, but thats still 1.20 a cell, which is still dead cheap!

30$ for a 5s 6000mAh pack... cool, but.. boy i would hate to solder together a pack full of those cells. That would be like making a tesla roadster battery.

From a non-ebike perspective, ~$0.11 per W-h?! Absolutely crazy. Kind of a weird cell design with a small "AA" style tab on the top, since they are intended to be used with flashlights (think dealextreme...). In fact these are practically identical cells they sell at dealextreme for quite a bit more.

From an ebike perspective: Very cheap cells true. Just don't forget that they are LiCo ("Lithium Ion" ) which means that they will not have a high discharge rate. 1/2C is all you should push for any length of time.

my fav on there, stops hair loss too:
