The first one is an odd place to think of when you think of Staples, but they have way more then just office supplies.

The German "Aldi" chain of grocery stores in Europe carry a geberic Chinabike with a BBS01 attached, plus a lithium battery. They recently expanded into North America, but i don't know if the US Aldi's can order one...
 
I forgot Ikea sells them or used to, in select locations.

I betcha especially around here, I just betcha someone has an old one that didnt work no more, or even got a flat tire, was too ugly, was rusted and they just threw it out into the back alley for Mr. Garbage Man to toss it in his truck. I have seen it with baby strollers when I was picking bottles, its good money doing that, especially on an ebike, just wizz around those bums I mean competitors.
