Suzhou KT-LCD1 Cruise Control.

Hi Guys

I have been unable to enable the Cruise Control function with my controller.

I have been following the instructions I have found online which said:

After finishing P parameter settings, the P5 parameter stops flashing. Within 1 minute after stopping flashing, hold “up” and “down” for about 2 seconds to enter the C parameter setting environment.

On my controller the P5 parameter flashes for about 1 minute and then instantaneously goes back to the start screen. If I press the Up and Down buttons together it goes to the P parameter settings again.

Is this the way it should be? Am I just not getting my timing right?

Are you sure you meant LCD1? My LCD1 controller only has P1-P5. You can buy a LCD3 or a higher lever controller that has the additional C parameters.

LCD1 has the buttons in the same case.


LCD3 has the buttons in a separate unit.

Yes it's the all in one controller LCD1.

So the 'C' parameters can't be accessed on the LCD1? The manual says it has cruise control, but without the ability to change the C7 value it's unusable.

When I try to do this, it tries to put the bike in walk mode.

Many KT controllers have a connectors that can be jumpered to enable cruise control.
