The best li ion 18650 for a Vectrix motocycle

Hi,

I have a vectrix motocycle and i need put a new battery pack. I thought in buy a pack with a 49Ah/6500kwh capacity but i have doubts about the correct cells for this motocyle..

The vectrix easily take 200A when i accelerate, so i nedd a battery pack with a large discharg capacity

Top speed 109 km/h (68 mph)
Power 20.2 kW (27.1 hp) peak; 7 kW (9.4 hp) continuous

I need your opinion, what is the best battery to a vectrix?

Sony US18650VTC4, US18650VTC5
SAMSUNG INR18650 25R
LG ICR 18650 HE2, LG ICR 18650 HE2

The Samsung 25R is almost identical to the Sony VTC5 but cheaper.

Also consider the Samsung 30Q - it performs the same as the 25R but with an extra 500mAh capacity.

Your choice may depend a lot on what cells you can get in your country and at what price.

NKON are good - I bought Samsung 30Q from there recently.

The 20Q is not as good a cell as the 25R or 30Q, but it depends how important price is to you.

Why not get a123 26650 cells? It's a motorcycle you have more room and you may want durable cycles. Or look for prismatic poches from them? Well if you really don't want LifePo4 you should buy LG HG2 3000mAh 20A continuous.

It is the best all around performer in 18650 format. No contests. It beats 25R and 30Q. Voltage remains steady, very close to Sony VTC5 but with more cap.

I only have 2300€ to invest.. A123 is to expensive.. My idea is to buy a great number of cells, for to construct a battery pack with 50ah, i think is better to buy cells with capacity between 2.0A and 2.5A because this way when the cells are in discharge the effort is less

I believe that cells is for a bike who doesn't need a large discharged of energy. Vectrix motobike, sometimes in a few seconds needs 200A easily

Both those cells will deliver 30A burst. If you want more there aren't many cells to choose from and you may have to settle for only 1500 or 2000mAh capacity cells...

Or Tesla cells if you want to build a super powerful and long range 36S36P 15kwh battery.

LG HB4 sounds me good..

NKON don't seem to sell the HB4, but they do sell the HB2, which actually seems to be a better cell (both 1500mAh, but 40A rather than 35A continuous capable according to the Mooch data). Cheap as well at 2.95 euros.

I think 4 vw up modules wil wurk en fit perfect...4 modules:25V/50Ah in serie and you can keep the original module housing/bms wiring/cover&conectors.

I choose samsung inr 18650 13l, i will put 1400 cells.. The vectrix will be heavy but i think be prepared for high speed races..

Those vw batteries are professionally built. Just saying. Modular yeah baby go modular. Measure twice. Make cardboard cut up. What c rating ?
