I like stuff like this, but dislike that it's a jpeg rather than in some sort of sortable list, not even easy copy and paste. Maybe there is a reason why mooch uses a jpeg.

I considered a while back making such a list myself very similar to what you see. Perhaps this jpeg can/will be in it's creation.

You can see these pages have columns which are sortable, I've imagined simply using wikipedia itself as the website/platform to place make this list. The only thing that worries me about doing this is that maybe some astroturfers will put their bullshit ultrafire cells on it or whatever offbrand labeling they want to use.

What I'd like to see is an 18650 list that has things like energy density, C rating, typical cycles 100% depth of discharge (DoD), capacities at various temperatures, typical weight, total capacity in watt hours and so on in such a sortable list.

From there you can save the webpage as HTML, open it in your favorite spreadsheet program, and add some simple math to find the best value based on whatever metric (such as power density, energy density/watt hours, cycles) you see fit.

Very nice chart. Thank you for making it.

That table is only looking for max discharge performance.
There is much more info available...on a much wider range of cells... On some of the previously linked sites in the "Battery FAQ " sticky thread.
