Hi!

I have my TS about 2,5 months now and only about 360 km on the clock.
It is running fine, but I noticed about 1mm play on the chainring already, and also some play on the crank.
So it seems like it is time for new sprag clutch order...

I can order new "Big Gear" from PswPower, but it will most probably be the same s..tty quality as the original.
As far as I was able to find on this forum and other sources, I can purchase CSK30P or BB30-1k-k (that one is supposed to be better?).
There is one more option here: https://www.hendersonbearings.co.uk/csk30p-one-way-bearings-premium-quality-kyk-with-keyway-30x62x16mm.html (with "HQCSK30P printed on the box, I guess that means "High Quality CSK30P"?) - That seems like a good product but delivery terms are not practical for me.

Now my question is (plase bear with me, it is not my area of expertise): are those generic names for this type of bearing, so it may be manufactured by any manufacturer, or brand names that belong to specific manufacturers? I am trying to find something from a reputable manufacturer, that will hold a bit longer than just 360 km...
An opinion from someone with more expertise and/or personal experience with those bearings would be most appreciated :)

Nick,
Im no expert on these sprag clutches, but as a fellow TSDZ2 user , i probably will need to brush up a bit !
However, so far i do know that the CSK30P is a generic descriptor for this type of clutch /bearing ( 62mm OD, 30 mm ID, 17mm wide,..with “P” denoting a keyway on the inner bore.
So yes, many different bearing manufacturers produce items with this descriptor, and as always , there are good ones, bad ones, cheap ones, and many inbetween,
All i can suggest is you source one from a reputable bearing supplier , relying on their expertise, but obviously manufacturers such as NSK, Timken, etc are the ones to look for
NOTE.. there is also a CSK30P +2 available from some manufacturers that is 4mm wider (21mm instead of 17mm) and claims to have 60% higher torque rating.....but i have no idea if it will fit as a direct replacement .
Some info and data here ..

I checked local suppliers today, and almost fainted :)
Prices are from 35€ for some Chinese brand, to almost 200€ for Stiber brand...

I think you can try the parts specific to avoid that play (spring washers), see the manual document for fix that, on PSWPower store.

It has been said in one German forum that this is a very brave engineering from a company like Tongsheng, since normally there should be a bearing next to the sprag clutch to reduce the play.
