Sunny and 30F today with the roads clear from snow all the way to the shoulder so I went for a long bike ride. I needed a destination for me and my winter rat so I decided to make the 10 mile trip out to the Kawasaki dealer to drool over the new Ninja300 and talk to the owner about the used $4300 Brammo I saw. He is also a Polaris dealer and recently added a Gem Cars franchise. Polaris dealers are being courted by Brammo so we had talked about them before. When I mentioned my new interest in Ebikes he showed a brochure for the Ebikes that Polaris is marketing.

It's nice to see some turn key bikes available for the less DIY inclined general public as I really believe they are a viable transportation alternative especially for high rise dwellers in big cities where the $3000 price tag might seem like more of a bargain.
