There was a time when a woman,in a murder,or action story,was either the victim or a secretary... now they are the dtectives and fighters [ even some the BRITISH inspectors have female partners :shock: ...really!!]...they are equal[an d sometimes superior to their male partners]they find clues, make intelligent deductions 8) the CHICAGO police chief is aWOMAN!! [what do you think of that Al] BUT THATS NOT ALL... they beat up on men[the most dangerous member of an NCIS team is a woman...VERY BEAUTIFUL]. in one tv story [kill bill] a woman slices and dices 60 or 70 samurai swordsmen[ Arnie needed multi weapons to do that many.]..... ... there ar at least two series that i have seen promos on[lost girl and covert affairs,i think] in which they appear to perform incredible martial arts feats .... Arnie and Stalone,be glad you were born 50 years ago [or more?]... parts for macho male heros are getting few and far between.. this could become very confusing for young boys...HOW TIMES DO CHANGE!!!!
 
We are indeed living in a time when females have come to prominence in TV and the movies...especially female action heroes. Yeah, some genius studio exec probably figured out that it's mostly guys that go to see action movies and we'd rather look @ Angelina Jolie than Sylvester Stallone. Works for me. :lol:
 
i work in a school district and in the high school the boys wear more jewelry than the girls and act feminine.the girls are the aggressors and fight more the the boys.it is a different era indeed.if i came home with a earring when i grew up my dad would have bought me a dress and a purse to match.times have changed.good luck to men everywhere.
 
Amazing what TV can make seem real.

In real fighting (mma), the few times they havpe tried woman vs man fights, it takes about a 50lbs weight advantage to the female, and she needs to be extremely well trained (only a small handful of competent woman MMA fighters exist in the world), and the 50lbs lighter male needs to be an amateur. Then its fairly even.

Only one chick I personally wouldn't feel safe fighting in hand-to-hand combat.

The change is not so recent really, Remember Arnie in Red Sonia? Brigit did some significant slicing and dicing in that one. And how bout Grace Jones for fierce?
 
yickes chris cyborg :shock: .i fought a handful of pro fights in my time and i would not fight her.she would kill me,and im 185lbs.scarey i think shes a cyborg :lol:

imo the reason for so much male feminininity is chemical in nature.
 
I see lots of guys wearing those skinny jeans now (125lb dudes w/ chicken legs) and girls wearing baggy pants...totally opposite of 10yrs ago. :lol:
