/hi
english is second language so happy reading :)
im new to soldering. i have to connect a battery to controler and motor

i have to choose a wire.
the only tin plated copper wire i can find come without insulation wich kind of not to mess with (danger electrocution)

i do have acces to a non tined plated copper that is insulated.

i read that tin plated copper wire is much easier to solder compared to non tin plated. i have a regular tin soldering gun

# 1 can i still solder easily with non tin plated copper? or is it better that i continu searching until i find an insulated tine plated copper wire?

tx.
/ 2 ps the other interesting thing i read is that tin plated wire last 10 times longer because of oxidation but since my wire will be insulated do you think that it will make a big difference?

Where are you?

I use fine stranded 105° insulated UL-rated boat wire for any case where there is exposure to the elements.

Tinned copper costs no more here in the US than plain.

Do not even consider bare wire.
