I was out biking at the Arnold Arboretum today, and I happened to stumble on one of these things just parked alongside one of the main trails (image not mine):
Upon closer inspection, it turns out that bike runs some variant of a Bosch mid-drive setup mated to a NuVinci N360 in the rear wheel; their website describes them as good for hauling 2-3 kids or a pile of cargo (the one I saw was kitted out for kids, and apparently they're available all over Europe, but the only American dealer is in Brooklyn. The whole package goes for $5250, or about $2100 more than a Surly Big Dummy kitted out with a Stokemonkey; I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these?
