I was at Home Depot, and saw some power tool batteries,

They are the Ryobi ONE + High Voltage 18 volts, 4 amp hour pack,
comes in a 2 pack for $ 89 ( they were $ 85 last week, You can get a 10% discount at Home Depot,)

So you can make a 36 volt 4 amp hour pack , ( however the battery says 74 watt hours, 18 volts, 4 amps per battery ), Is their math off somehow,?
for about $ 80 Tax included, from the looks of it there are 10 batteries in each pack, so total of 20 batteries to make 36 volt pack.

What batteries are in them ?

Who has done this with these ONE + battery packs ? , ( higher amps than the standard Ryobi pack )

Good to see they are Samsung batteries,
However, that's what I was thinking, that they were a low Ahr Capacity cells ,
so not worth it ,
until,
Ryobi makes the same 2 pack of batteries, with 3000Mah to 34000 Mah cells.

Do a search on this forum for. "Ryobi ". You will find several threads about these packs.
Each pack has 10cells (5S, 2P) of Samsung 20Q 2 Ahr capacity.

Two would make a 36v pack, of about 150 wh. for a hundred. That's a decent price for two of the 4 ah packs, at 85 bucks. I've seen them much closer to 60 for one.

But such a small pack, all but useless on an e bike really. Range only about as far as you could just pedal a bike pretty easy. 6 miles at 25wh/mi.

It could be an option for a reserve tank type use, backing up your main pack, especially if you already have the tools and need more packs to run the tools.

I've been playing with these for a few months without any major issues. They are 79$ at my home depot, but can drop even lower. there is a site called slickdeals(DOT)net and people post info about price drops and sorts.
At one point they dropped to 25$ for 2 18V 4amp batteries and I jumped in and picked up 7 packs. My experiences are noted here:
