Hi, I want to build another Ebike, this time a stealth bomber style. I was looking on Amazon for some frame kits, they don't seem too bad, but I was wondering where is a good place to get reliable frames and what brands to stay away from. I can spend about $400-$500 on a frame. Most likely going to push 3000-5000 watts through it.

My friend, you can score a full suspension bike with mega rear drop outs perfect for a rear hub motor at the pawn shop or all day on Craigslist, and soft is what you need to bomb.

imo just get a second hand motorcycle frame because those are def more reliable
I can contribute some numbers here. A used MX bike frame (aluminium) can be bough for as low as 50 bucks. Same for the swingarm.

It's possible to buy an entire rolling MX chassis (frame, wheels, seat, suspension) for about 500-600 bucks, ready to accept the battery, engine and a controller.

Can't say I understand spending $500 just on a heavy steel frame.
