Hey all, I was thinking it would be interesting to see what everyone out there wants and why.

Mine is a commuter board that is still fun to ride.

10 mile range
18 mph
Single or dual drive
lithium ion or lifepo4 battery
90-100mm wheels
10-15 lbs
loaded vanguard, tan tien, ceviche, or fat tail deck. (I like flexy boards)

I guess my ideal board is a marbel/boosted mashup. Marbel specs with loaded deck. Maybe in boosted v3?

my dream is the hoverboard with rockets.

For me, offroad, Baja Board looks awesome, but too expensive for me http://www.bajaboard.com.au/

I dream of Snowboarding all year round, so my electric Dirtsurfer really hits the spot, it's almost ideal apart from it being tricky to start because it's wobbly, and the turning circle is pretty massive. Apart from that (and they are forgiveable) - it's perfect for me :)

Street board - An aluminum deck built-in enclosure 33-36", surfrodsz hybridsz, 12S, Vedder ESC, Custom Handheld Controller like Wii Nunchuck but 2.4ghz.
Hybrid - Pneumatic - 38" aluminum deck built in enclosure, surfrodsz hybridsz, 12S, Vedder ESC, Custom Handheld Controller like Wii Nunchuck but 2.4ghz.

10-15 mile range
30mph
Dual drive
10-15 lbs

2 Jacobs hub motors
Lifepo4 10ah
8s alien esc (is yours the same Torque and what amps will the two you sold me do?)((thinking 12s might not be ideal with the hub motors but hopefully we can compare))
Kegels in purple
Nunchuck or pressure sensing wires ON THE TRUCKS
Bms
Switch w light
charging port
All in the board

Kudos for the jet hover board !

Otherwise AWD skates
16s20Ah
50 miles range in economic
50 mph in sprint
Hillclimb ability
Alien 63mm 3200w X2 main drive and a matching pair for secondary drive
A way to enhance jump

I changed my mind, I would have the smartwheels skateboard from "Snow Crash". Great cyberpunk scifi novel if you are into that sort of stuff.

Smartwheels, I loved that.

CHISELED SPAM
is what you will see in the mirror if you surf on a weak plank with dumb, fixed wheels and interface with a muffler, retread, snow turd, road kill, driveshaft, railroad tie, or unconscious pedestrian. If you think this is unlikely, you've been surfing too many ghost malls. All of these obstacles and more were recently observed on a one-mile stretch of the New Jersey Turnpike. Any surfer who tried to groove on that 'vard on a stock plank would have been sneezing brains.

In my rocket science job, I worked alongside Mr. Stephenson for almost six years. He's every bit as cool as you think, but talks a lot slower than his writing would lead you to believe.

My ultimate e-board would be one smart enough not to take off from underneath me, leaving me with a closed head injury.

I started sponging aka boogie boarding aka bodyboarding before surfing. Even before that, I was body surfing. To this day, my fondest memory of a great wave was body surfing. 3 foot wave  .
