Where can you get a 48V - 72V 40A Electric Scooter Bike 72v Circuit Breaker ?

Better off with fuses

I like Cooper Bussmann or Blue Sea ANL type

Class-T, MRBF

Most fuses and circuit breakers are not rated at 72V DC. The MRBF mentioned above is close, at 58V, and would probably work OK.

I'm new to this...post 2...but I purchased a Midnite Solar MNEPV breaker. I like the idea of making it part of my battery build where it will function as a master OFF switch in addition to providing OCPD service.

See for some explanation of DC circuit breakers:

That handle implies you work for them

I suppose it could be construed that way....but the truth is I am a much better customer than employee. My business the first couple of years after retiring was doing marine electrical work. Sorta still is when I get dragged into some part time consulting.

But the handle comes from the name of a boat we lived on for 5 years, 2 1/2 of which were in the Caribbean as far south as Cartagena, Colombia. In honor of all the Hispanic countries we visited on that trip, the boat was named Mar Azul. Figured it might be an ice breaker for a couple lily white gringos. Plus we liked the name.
