Where’s the thread related to battery connections done with magnets?

I can’t find it searching “magnet battery” and warming up to make one.


I need to figure what size magnets were best and what copper thickness. I remember foil working well and I guess whatever magnet fits the pole. Be good to see the thread again regardless

yet another solderless DIY battery pack via NIB's

How come nobody has tried this? Just been playing with some old expendable sammy 18650's and some NIB magnets from home depot. The magnets clamping force on the copper strip is amazing. I plan on just lining the battery box lid with heavy duty 1/4" foam, just to make sure the magnets/copper...
