wind powered board

I use to do that with my outback mountain board, it was hard on equipment. Sucked falling at high speed. Fun, till I got tired of the injuries.

Hi,
wind is a great power! And it is nice to feel the power in your hands as it pulls you and your board along. Here is another video:

at 1:16 driven by the wind, at 1:37 starting to windskate.

But actually through windskating I became interested in electic boards.
Windskating is great I probably would prefer it over electric boards, but
- you need wind
- you need the right amount of wind (not to much, but still enough)
- you need space
- - to ride
- - for the wind to reach your sail

So therefore I am looking for a chance to try out an electic board as an alternative if there is not the right space or wind.
What also sounds tempting would be a hybrid approach: Using the wind if possible (direction, strength) and electic power for the rest of the way or way back.
And have the (remote) control in the hand in a windsurf rigg like way could also stabilze your ride and add new options.
Anyone tried this so far or would I be the 1st?

thanks and regards
BBT
