So, I decided to build an Electric Skateboard to commute to school since it's only 3 miles from home. Where I live is a long incline all the way to the school until about the last .2 miles so i'm building a diagonal dual motor board. Only problem is that I don't know how to wire it compared to a single motor. Any food for thought?

I'm also struggling with the same question. I'm planning on two separate electronics enclosures because of flex in my board, one a the front with batteries and ESC and one at the rear with the same. My confusion is in where to put the receiver. If I put it in the front or rear box and extend the ESC cable from the other side of the board, would there be a delay in commands sent to one motor and would it really be noticeable?

Single 6374 would probably work fine. You can always upgrade later. There is quite a bit of extra cost going dual drive and some more wiring.

I have a single drive with sk3 6364 245kv motor, plenty of power for hills. my motor has never overheated, my castle mamba max esc does get a little warm but the fan on it helps keep it cool. The point I am trying to make is go single, dual is a lot more expensive and drains you battery faster. Also less electronics to go wrong

That is true, from my math, with my motor build alone is $350 less if I go single. How fast is yours?

Speed depends on kv and gearing. Mine is a 12S @ 192kv 14:36 on 80mm wheels and should do 27mph by the math. Only got it running yesterday and went about 16mph on barely any throttle. It was dark and my first run.
