Does anybody know of these cells ?
Xalt Energy, is a rebirthing of Dow Kokam in Midland MI, USA, and supply :x cells for the FElectric race cars and also some of the F1 teams,...so they must have some decent quality, high discharge , cells
I know the FE cells are a small pouch configuration, but that is all ?
I cannot imagine they are just continuing with the old DK range of cells, but I have no info on anything with a "Xalt Energy" label on it .
Their site only shows industrial applications, buses, trucks etc
Any clues ?

I did a contract test job using a 5S 75Ah battery last year. Capacity tested each cell before assembly at 1C. All passed. Test was PLC managed duty cycle of charge/discharge all below 1C. Cells were great. No problems. No heat. But not pushed hard by any means. I can't say much more about that project. Those cells would be great for larger plug-in EV. Recently saw a classified ad for some of these cells. It mentioned $177/cell.

Found it:

I figure they must have some high performance ( high C rated) cells in their range for those F1 & FE packs.
I know the FE pack has 200kg Max of cell weight, and contains 28-30 kWhrs of energy , capable of supplying 200kW of power (continuous ?) , and more in bursts.
...but I guess that is only 7-10C in reality ?
However the F1 pack is only 25kg Max, but can output 100+ kW .
