Hallo !
I making project with BLDC engine 48V 1.8KW and controller BY15WF01A with XCM-K onboard.
My testing bench is here:
and have another film in my YT.
My controller not equipped with softstart and learn function, only have switch - forward/reverse, 3 gear and brake switch. I have big problem - i build external controller with softstart - working fine, battery Voltometer and RPM speedometer, and in future included speed compensating for constant max speed with battery full - 52V or weak - 48V. My controller is build Atmega328 platform. Analog signal from Hall throttle is converting to PWM, and filtering to constant voltage. I have 8 controllers and motors. Motors and controllers ion the same. All motors and controllers working fine without vehicle load. When motors load, 3 vehicles starting fine from 1-to 3 gears with throttle full open, and 5 vehicles jerking , and controller stop working - need disconnect battery for reset. Problem is not in motors, hall sennsor and phase or hall directions, only in controllers with XCM-K. When replaced controllers in set is ok. Problem does not occur wit any controller with hall throttle. The strange thing is that the controllers are identical and the problem occurs only in a few. I connected the hall to 5V and replace to 4.3V, and in the output have max 3.3V (max rpm is 3.3V) with zener diode 3.6V for remove voltage spikes. LPF filter pwm have 1.5K resistor and 100n, replaced 10uf - microcontroller XCM in ebike controller have 10K pulldown resistor in throttle input, and frequency PWM is 7800hz. Ripple voltage is around 10mV. Ground battery and throttle is common. Please any suggeston. 3 the same controllers working fine, but 5 no. Engine is ok. Problem is with engine load. Load not increase 50% full load, vehicles without described problems they go uphill without problems. Any idea, sugestion ? 3 XCM accepts PWM and the other does not. Filter with two or 3 stages ? Please help. Thanks, Simon
