This one is from MorpHex Pretty amazing to watch all the things it does, when in "ball mode" it can control which direction it rolls, in "crab mode" its fascinating to watch, two minute video...

That was brilliant. And a bit creepy.
All it needs now is a gun turret or poison gas and I'm sure he could get funding from the Military.

Here is the velociroach announced a few weeks ago. Faster than the real thing. In one of the videos where there is high pile carpet, I actually thought they put an actual roach for comparison. Nope, another faster roboroach.

Quad-copters are all over the place, they are cheaper every day...the new "Zano" is $300 and its tiny, but...what it has that is special is a "follow mode", which means you can be riding your electric bike and want to make a video of the ride, and this quadcopter allows you to get some great shots without a second person piloting it...

It can also be piloted by a smart-phone, but I don't have any details about that.
