    HobbyKing ECO6 chargers - WTF!

I had two eco6's and they both died pretty quickly, I switched over to the accucell-8 and it runs much cooler and seems to be a better unit, I have had no problems so far, so its a good alternative for not much more cost.

Combine volt amp and Ah meter for USD $15

it says 20-70C, but looking at the analogue display it goes a bit higher... I purchased a cheap temp meter before that had 70 as the upper limit before, (not the same one) but I took it up to 90 without anything happening... maybe past that point it would damage a component and make the readings...

    DID I SCREW UP??????

Yeah the difference is you have two 10s 2p blocks instead of five 2s4p blocks The convention is to Parallel first, then series, as this allows the parallel packs to remain in balance with less wiring... If you go series first, simply make two 10s2p packs (your series block in your original...

    DID I SCREW UP??????

Hi, Keeping in mind that each of your lipo packs is 2s2p, then looking at your diagram, you have one 10s2p pack (your series block) and one 2s10p pack (your parallel block) each of the cells is 3.7v nominal 3000mah. so your series block is 37v 6Ah and your parallel pack is 7.4v 30Ah...

Haven't needed to yet - need to get my electric motorcycle running first before trying to up power. The main issue would be to ensure they output at exactly the same voltage so that load is evenly distributed... I had some information somewhere on load sharing, but I lost it a while back...

Combine volt amp and Ah meter for USD $15

I purchased the original meter in the thread because of its expandability, planning to use an external shunt. 600W 10-60V to 12-80V converter

I'm still trudging through my taobao order, my total final price for 3 is $66. The savings from ordering through taobao will increase significantly with a purchase of a higher number of units, even for 5 the savings would be much greater. I'm hoping they work better with 48v input, common sense...

    600W 10-60V to 12-80V converter

A supply doesn't need to be isolated for running in parallel, only for running in series. Someone correct me but I am 99% sure, and sure enough to hook it up that way without doubting myself. Yeah the 3kw supply is 48v 57A or something, costs <$50 on ebay if you want to find one. Although I...
