Can someone please help me identify wires on currie throttle

Hi, I got this throttle from a GT shockwave scooter I have, I believe it is a hall throttle. I was hoping to use this with my Adaptto Mini-E controller and to avoid controller problems I need to know what the different wire colours are for. Best Regards Lars

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Hi Doc, if you see my earlier post 2 pages back where i wonder:"Does any of you know what the setting in charge menu 2/2 "ChgSensor inv yes" means? If you set this to yes it will exit charge mode, I cannot get out of charge mode before i toggle this to yes. Lars

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Hi, Does any of you know what the setting in charge menu 2/2 "ChgSensor inv yes" means? I have had failures to the controller during charging earlier and I am really scared to blow it again. All references I can find on this says it is reserved for future use/OEM, the reason I ask is because...

    Dual mode controller/motor

The Adappto controllers have 3 programmable power profiles, you can set phase amps, batt. amps, speed limit and acceleration. You know your batt. voltage so then it is just to set the amp to get the "wattage level" you want. Lars

    Modified controller issue (video included)

Yeah it would have been nice to have another motor to test with, because this looks like a poorly made motor. There is one place where there is a gap between the magnets that is larger than the rest and there is also a small corner of one magnet missing. Unfortunately I'm the only one of my...

    Modified controller issue (video included)

Yes I am running with sensors now, at least I think so. The halls are switching like they should but maybe the controller have the ability to run sensorless and has switched to that? Battery current was about 1 A @WOT with wheel in air, I tried a few phase wire combos and mean that I settled...

    Modified controller issue (video included)

Hi, Can someone help me while my Adaptto Mini-e is back in Russia? (I never got it to run the motor with sensors so I tried sensorless and think I burned a FET) I have another controller from this thread http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=60139. that I will try to use while...

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Yes there is, if you press two times to the left(from the main display/screen) and look for a H with a number after that will be the halls. They should go 1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on if it mix up the sequence then something is wrong. (like on my setup)

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

The hall sensors and the wiring is brand new and the halls are tested with a multimeter(to eliminate halls as a source for failure) so everything is working. I think that there is something with the placement or angle of the hall sensors because it is just the sequence that get messed up. In...

Can someone please help me with setting up the mini-e for my hub motor? I start to wonder if my motor is incompatible with the mini-e.(It ran great before I swapped to the mini-e) Here is a link to the kit I have taken the motor from...

In the advanced menu you have different types of thermistors, I would try all of the options in there to see if it got working.

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I didn't hear that, but I wired mine that way; one side to GND and the "nut side" to + (sensor output). This is because I thought it did matter with the polarity and the one thermistor leg was marked with a nut and red sticker with + sign on. Why mark the legs so clearly if it didn't matter? I...

That is the temperature sensor for the motor, the "nut side" is the +5v side of the thermistor.

Help needed with controller, what is this?

So if I order 18 of these http://no.mouser.com/ProductDetail/International-Rectifier/IRFB4110PBF/?qs=9%252bKlkBgLFf1/kPV%252buAP9EQ== and replace the FETs it should be capable of handling twice the current or run cooler with better efficiency at the same current? (I will buy more than 18 FETs so...

Help needed with controller, what is this?

Hi I`m a long time lurker on this forum and became a member recently, past year I bought an ebike kit here in Norway without any specs(he had bought bulk from a bankrupt store).
