    i didn't buy it. i was just using it as an example of a motor and wanted to know if it could fit inbetween the dropouts..i have vbrakes,no need for disc. i want to find a motor that has a standard front drop out for a mountain bike. has vbrake brakes...you said the 9c 243mm diameter type motors...

    are there any motors out there. i am guessing maybe a dd motor....that is 100mm front dropout normal but its width can not be more than 75mm. preferably 60 or 70mm would probably be the max. my forks are 75mm width after one inch above the dropouts.
