Motor upgrade suggestions (more speed needed)

I'm looking to upgrade to a faster motor. My setup is currently a 26" mountain bike with a WE-BL motor. It's running the stock motor controller but it's been modified to put out about 38amps (instead of the original 20). I've got 16 BMI LiFePo4 cells in series giving me a little more than 50V...

    Inverter for motor controller

Does anyone know of a motor controller that steps the voltage up like an inverter does to give you more speed from a lower voltage pack? I'd like to find a controller that can work with a 48V pack but boost the voltage up to around 70V to allow more speed from the same battery pack. I know...

PING Pack BMS cuts out early when > 100F

I'm at just over 1000 miles on my 10AH 48V ping pack. Everything is just great with it except that I keep tripping the low voltage BMS cutoff after only 7ah whenever the temperature outside is over about 100F. In the mornings when the temp is below 80 or so, I easily can put 9AH+ on the pack...

    BL-36 at 48Volts Review

A few weeks ago I bought a BL-36 from Wilderness Energy. This is my first e-bike. The new version of the BL-36 is rated at 650Watts, and has a start from 0 controller. Since it was rated at the same power as the brushed model and is supposed to get more range than the brushed motor, I decided...
