    Yes, when I tested the motor on my stand using that controller the theoretical top speed was 44mph, but when attached to the display is tops out at 26mph and has significantly slower acceleration

    There's no speed limit on the GD06, if the protocol installed is 5S it will be limited to 25-28mph, which seems to be the case for all 5S controllers.     It was easier to take a photo with the 1t4 harness removed since the throttle pins were so small. I traced back the throttle wire to that pin in that plug. Directly at where the throttle connects is reading 52.5v I tested the motor with my other Izip bike when I purchased it and it worked fine...
