I don't think they are the manufacturer, just a supplier.

Same issue as others. No e abs on this particular 48v 1000w unit. I'm opening it up.

I tested mine (unloaded) at the weekend and got regen working. Connected the two blue wires together (e-abs?) and when you short the brake low wires it activates.

What voltage is your pack Samd?

Yeah I had the blue wires connected and a brake switch on the low brake wires. There was 4.8v across the low brake wires. But nothing when I engaged the switch.

So what happens when you engage the brake? Just cuts power? No electronic braking? Try it with a more slightly charged pack and also unloaded.

Its actually doing nothing at all. Not even cutting the power. Weird.

I guess I could have a faulty switch. Will test again tonight.
Seems odd that there is 4.8v at the low brake terminals and nothing happens.

Have you tried shorting the two wires in the connector of the "brake low" connector instead of using the brake? That would help determine if the switch was faulty. very strange that it's not cutting power.

anyone have a dead controller in the uk they want to sell, i have a programmer coming but i don't want to remove the chip off my working controller.

Me possibly. What you planning to do with it as I was planning on fixing it in the future?

sorted it now, i have ordered another one so i can use this one for a test unit :D .

I cancelled my "non sunwin" controller after the seller told me it is only 15-fet and his new stock doesn't say sunwin BUT is made in the same factory or so he claims. So will I have to buy a kelly to get sinwave, >1000w and programmability at this point?

I'm impressed.

What's the plan then? Do you have to remove the MCU from the board? What have you bought to test it?

yes i will have to remove the mcu to make it easyer. i have the right programmer somewhere but i can't find it so i ordered a new one.

anyone tryed the Sabvoton controller software. i don't no what mcu they use.

There are other sine wave programmable controllers available. You won't get this from a Sunwin though, no.

So how does it work? Does it reverse engineer the programming that's already on the MCU?
