the damper rate is controlled by a lever on the shock connected to a servo, we can change the dynamics of the board quickly or even go to full suspension lock out.

I'm just trying to think how this board will ride.. loads of power geometric linkage steering/suspension.. I think going to 10inch is good.. getting them made must of cost! Are they speed rated LOL.

That's a pretty neat 4wd mountain board. I definitely want to make a mountainboard so I can ride on grass and uphill. One of these days.

Gen 1 had 12 inch wheels and tyres, but we thought it was just a little to big, it fits in a average car but not much will fit in there after.

Gen 2 is about 3/4 the size and has 10 inch wheels.

We hope to keep the price around that figure, the design is very modular . Production design is well on the way. Hoping to incorporate more engineering plastics to keep the weight down but also for ease of manufacture.

I was expecting shock absorbers from the "mountain bike world" but they seem to be specific

Edit : 2" travel is typical for MTB shok absorber, is there really no chance to use them ? (it's a well known technology with good stuff for the price they cost)

the shocks that are on it now are mountain bike air shocks, but we are organizing to get some more specific ones made up soon!

Oh, I guess "getting some more specific ones made up" would be a commercial penalty that only few could afford...

said in other words : it's a damm good clever idea to use MTB air shock! :lol:
Even if I believe u had to pressurize them less than a 1/4 of what they are built for, don't they just work fine ?

haha no its not a commercial penalty by any means, its a pure advantage. Our suspension is the corner stone of our design. Having quality shocks and springs will only improve the ride and reliability!

We are hoping to use a slight variation on an existing design so the price shouldn't be affected.

All of our team members went to university, whether it be engineering, business or media/communications. But more importantly all of our team members have a background in playing with fast toys, whether it be cars, motorbikes, boats, kite boarding, skateboarding, snowboarding, mountain boarding and mountain biking.
